The College

The College of Applied Science, managed by I.H.R.D was established in 1993 offering UG programs such as B.Sc. Electronics and Computer Science for the first time in Kerala. The courses are being run under the semester system with the most modern syllabi, modified from time to time. The University of Calicut awards the degree. The location of the permanant building of the College is by the side of NH 47 at a distance of 33 KMs from both Palakkad and Trissur. Now the College offers three UG programs and three PG programs. M.Sc. Electronics of this college is the first of the kind under the University of Calicut and has one of the most advanced syllabi in the whole country!

A new course P.G.D.A.E (Post Graduate Diploma in Audio Engineering) of 1 year duration for aspirants interested in the Audio media industry, the first of it's kind in Kerala under the Govt. Sector and the fourth in India will  be started shortly in July 2010.
