CASCA

     'CASCA' (College of Applied Science Computer Association) is intended to spread the current technological changes among the students of our college and encourage the technical skills within its members. CASCA officially commences on 1 st February 2003 with a slogan 'Breaking the Boundaries'. CASCA was inagurated by Sri K.B Brahmadattan (Principal General Manager BSNL) and the function was presided over by our principal Mr.Sunil Kumar.

The objectives of the association as described in the below are :

• Conduct seminars on technical subjects.
• Conduct personality development classes.
• Conduct comptetitions.
• Assist placement activity.
• Enhance the technical skills of the students by
• conductiong workshops.
• Abreast the students with the latest IT trends.

     The members of the association are, all the students under computer science department. A group of selected executive members from each class along with a staff advisor and a chairman constitute the executive committee. Three students each from all the three batches of MCA, two students from each batch of MSc Computer Science and one member each from the three batches of BSc. Computer Science are the student members in the committee. A vice-chairman and a secretary are elected from the committee members. The activities of the association have always led the students towards the light of knowledge and technical know-how. We have covered a short journey in this endeavor, ansd have a long way to go.
